A list of my favorite stuff you might enjoy.
I absolutely love
this little candle. They are made by
Glade.
They come in a frosted hurricane with several
different options for scents. They take 2 AA
batteries, included. They have a timer to emit a
puff of scent every few minutes. You can set it for
frequent, often or occassional. They have a built
in timer so the "flame" goes off automatically
after 3 hours. They run about $10, but
Sam's in Clarksville sells them for
under $9 with extra refills. If you love
candles, but worry about having a flame burning
- these are for you. No more worrying about
forgetting them. No more worrying about turning
them over and spilling melted wax on your
favorite rug. No more worrying about leaving the
room and the cat setting fire to it's
tail.
In an effort to
improve the quality of my girls skin care, I
purchased them a little sample kit of
Burt's
Bees.
It included a face bar, toner, face lotion, lip
balm and some other items. They really liked the
way everything felt, worked and smelled. Some of
the items smelled like honey. I learned that
many common products contain ingredients that
are hormone disrupters. This means they mess up
your hormones and can potentially cause all
kinds of trouble. One company not using any of
these harmful ingredients is, you guessed
it, Burt's
Bees.

This is a book I'm
reading on Queen Esther. It discusses her life and
ascension to Queen of the Persian Empire and how
the protocols and lessons she learned relate to
modern day Christians seeking favor in the eyes of
God.

The iPhone
is definitely on
my list of favorite things. And, yes, I have
one. It has a pink leather case.
It's not just a great phone, iPod, address book, calendar, calculator and notepad. You can send and receive email no matter where you are. You can carry beautiful images of your kids and movies. It has a great little camera. You can see the weather any time. And, if you're lost, you can just go to Google maps and get directions and a high-res map image. How cool is that? Oh, and it is so darn pretty.
